My name is Jeremy Dummler, I’ve been a rail fan and model railroader for almost 40 year, loving trains since I knew what they were, and getting my first models for Christmas when I was 7.
I consider myself a railroad historian of many railroads, but my primary historical interest lies with the Yosemite Valley Railroad. Many of my posts here will detail things I learn, visits I make with the YV historical society, and models I build to depict that line.
My wife and I are currently working on a joint layout, having decided that right now, two layouts do not fit in our home. That layout is based on the Norfolk & Western in West Virginia. The N&W will split time with the YV here.
I also participate with several groups, serving as the Facebook Admin for the Fox Valley Division of the NMRA, the Research Editor for the Layout Design Journal of the LDSIG, and I present clinics at RPM Chicagoland.
Welcome to trainmodeler. Thank you for visiting.
